Background

Exquisite Solution Limited is seeking a qualified Crane Operator to support our client in the oil and gas sector. The role is responsible for safely and efficiently executing all crane lifting operations on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the crane safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures.
• Conduct thorough inspections of the crane to ensure it is in safe working condition.
• Perform routine maintenance to keep the crane in optimal operational condition.
• Participate in pre-job safety meetings and accurately follow all lifting operation plans and instructions.
• Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the shift.
• Clean and maintain the crane’s hoisting mechanisms to ensure proper functionality.
• Operate lever and pedal controls with precision and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the rig crew and support additional tasks assigned by Rig management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or an equivalent qualification.
• Valid government-approved driving license with the appropriate class for crane operation.
• 2 years of experience as a crane operator.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
