Job Purchase
This role will be responsible for building and managing a high-impact wellness ecosystem of partners, driving staff and customer adoption, and positioning Old Mutual Uganda as an actively engaged wellness brand in the everyday lives of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Ecosystem Strategy & Partnership Development
- Develop and execute the Thrive ecosystem strategy for Uganda
- Identify, onboard, and manage strategic partners across physical wellness, Mental wellness, Financial advisory services AND digital experience partners
- Structure mutually beneficial partnership models (commercial, engagement, cocreation)
- Build a sustainable pipeline of ecosystem partners across key customer segments
Thrive Market Ownership & Implementation
- Act as the business owner of Thrive in Uganda, ensuring alignment with Group strategy and local market needs
- Coordinate internal cross-functional delivery across Marketing, HR, Customer Experience, Digital, and Distribution
- Lead the implementation of Thrive pilots, staff activation campaigns, and customer market rollouts
- Monitor adoption, engagement, and partner performance, and translate insights into action
Adoption, Engagement & Growth
- Drive sustained staff and customer adoption through Ecosystem activations and partner-led campaigns, Corporate wellness engagements AND Community & group-based wellness participation
- Position Thrive as a daily-life engagement platform, not just a benefits tool
Strategic & Commercial Impact
- Build the case for Thrive as a strategic customer engagement asset
- Link Thrive ecosystem engagement to Customer acquisition and retention, Brand relevance and wellness positioning AND Cross-sell and long-term value opportunities
- Provide periodic performance reporting and insights to executive leadership
ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING (AML) EXPECTATION
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring adherence to, implementation of, and adoption of Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Sanctions-related policies, procedures, and process requirements within Old Mutual and its subsidiaries. This includes execution of customer due diligence processes, ensuring compliance with Know-Your-Customer (KYC) standards, conducting ongoing and enhanced due diligence, and maintaining data quality. Additionally, the role involves identifying and monitoring potential AML, Sanctions, or Compliance breaches and unusual activities, and escalating these concerns to the Risk and Compliance Office for further action.
