Scope of Work: Main services shall include: Provide repairment services and spare parts. MERCEDES-BEEK ACTRICS ST FORM: Truck AT Forrest Truck HOVIO Vacuum Instru text HOVIO Cementing truck Cement number Truck/Trainer mounted tank/vehicle mounted air compressor The motor used by this end carry needed to repair 750KV motor/350KV motor /300KV motor /150KV motor /110KV motor /Wales pump. Air Compressor used on rig side and camp needed to repair. ATLAS COPCO Diesel and electric driven air compressors The above-mentioned scope of work is only a preliminary estimate. For detailed requirements and clarification, please contact us directly. Critical parameters: Minimum Requirements The supplier must be registered in the National Supplier Database (NSD) of Uganda and be a fully Ugandan locally-owned company, in compliance with Ugandan laws and regulations. The supplier must be certified by the Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PMU) as a local company and their scope of work on NSD must be in line with project. Minimum of 3 years' experience providing vehicle maintenance or related logistics support services in the East African region. The types of vehicles to be maintained include but are not limited to: Forkites, Cranes, Flatbed and Locked Trucks, Vacuum/Cementing/Cement Transfer Trucks The supplier must provide genuine or equivalent quality space parts, with sufficient inventory support. Must demonstrate its own intended capacity to deliver services reliably. A proven track record is similar services, preferably in line di & gas or large infrastructure sectors |

Vehicle Repair Service Technician
As part of the Tiempo and Congulate Projects, COSL UGANDA SMC LIMITED is seeking experienced Vehicle Repair Service Technicians to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment used in the oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles such as MERCEDES-BENZ trucks, HOVIO vacuum trucks, cementing trucks, and other specialized equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure all repairs are completed to industry standards and comply with safety regulations.
- Source and use genuine or high-quality equivalent spare parts for all repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure minimal downtime for vehicles and equipment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including environmental and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Certification in Automotive Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in vehicle maintenance, preferably in the oil and gas or heavy machinery sector.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
