Position Summary:
The Field sales executive and Promoter plays a vital role in driving the visibility, accessibility, and sales of the clients’ products and services within a designated territory. The position is responsible for ensuring adequate retailer stocking, promoting and selling products, supporting brand visibility, and executing experiential marketing activities. The Field Sales Executive and Promoter will work closely with distributors and retail partners to manage inventory, provide on-the-ground service, and recruit new retailers. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, field mobility, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic, target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retailer Stocking: Ensure retailers in territory have sufficient stock
- SIM Sales: Ensure retailers are selling sim cards in their space of operation
- Active tools of trade: Ensure the retailers have a working kit (mantras/VPN kits)
- Distributor and retailer Inventory management.
- Brand awareness in the territory including branding of reseller outlets
- Experiential activities in the territory to stimulate sim sales
- Work along with the distributor and agent sales teams
- Working to service retailers. Ensuring they have regular visits and availability of product
- Retailer recruitment within the assigned territory. Ensure the LMU products are easily accessed by customers
Qualifications: Education/ knowledge/Technical skills and experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including report writing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business related subject from a reputable University.
- At least 2 years in a similar role with a Telecom background position.
- Should not be more than 30 years of age.
Other critical skills and abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Energetic and ability to be active throughout and willingness to learn.
- High level of honesty, integrity and confidentiality.
- Excellent level of customer care.
- Willing to work long hours with minimum supervision.
- Practicing accountability and integrity
- Thinking clearly, deeply and broadly
- Practicing innovation & change
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to adopt and work cooperatively and effectively in different situations.
- Building collaborative relationships
- Practicing gender & cultural diversity
