Job Purpose:

To support the finance department in managing the day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in ledgers, and assisting with financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payment collection, and supplier payments.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger entries.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Process payroll and ensure statutory deductions (PAYE, NSSF, NHIF) are remitted on time.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and monitor depreciation.
  • Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and tax regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • CPA Part II or higher (CPA-K preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of integrity.
  • Knowledge of local tax laws is essential.
