Activities
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate personal commitment to the HSE Group policy, participating actively to safety programs in place on working environment.
- Ensure fluids and cement operations are performed in line with local Environmental Regulations and oilfield good practices.
- Ensure the Compliance Engineer onboard the drilling rig is capturing all relevant information in line with regulatory requirements.
- Capture, analyse and compile incidents related to Fluids, Cement and Waste Management operations.
- Prepare the Well Fluid & Cement program and Cutting Waste Management strategy and ensure a close follow up of operations.
- Work closely with FC Leader, with the Senior Fluids and Cement Engineer as well as Drilling Engineering team during the well preparation and operational execution.
- Support the Drilling Superintendent during drilling operations to ensure the needs of the project are properly anticipated and answered.
- Coordinate with Fluids and Cement vendors the well planning, program preparation and updates, operations and logistics.
- Follow up Fluids and Cement performances to ensure well integrity and smooth drilling operations.
- Manage daily operational drilling fluids, cement, waste management operations in accordance with company standards & local laws.
- Ensure drilling program and referential are strictly followed.
- Ensure correct invoicing, cost evaluation and update accordingly invoice database.
- Participate to the issuing of State-of-the-Art document, Well Programs, End of well reports, optimization procedures
- Review Mud and Cement daily operational reports to ensure compliance with program’s prerogatives and accuracy of information.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience:
- BSc (or equivalent professional experience)
- Knowledge of internal and external rules, standards and procedures in the fluids and Cement
- Very good interpersonal skills and decision making, ability to manage an international team of engineers.
- IWCF Enhanced Level 4.
- A minimum of 10 years of international and operational experience, both in fluids, cement and waste management. International experience preferentially in land operations
- Experience of supervision for onsite drilling fluids and cementing operations, preparation, calculation and planning for casing cement operations and isolation cement plugs is desirable.
