Responsibilities or duties

• Order Taking: Greet guests warmly, present menus, and take accurate food and beverage orders.
• Service Delivery: Serve food and beverages in a timely and elegant manner, adhering to proper service etiquette and sequence.
• Guest Interaction: Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction, anticipate needs (e.g., refills, condiments), and address any concerns.
• Table Maintenance: Set up and clear tables, ensuring they are properly sanitized and arranged. Polish glassware and silverware.
• Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Cash Handling: Process guest payments accurately using the POS system.
• Communication: Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timing and accuracy of orders.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Education: High school diploma.

Skills: Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations. Basic math skills for cash handling.

Attributes: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to stand for long shifts, and a friendly, outgoing personality. Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (if applicable).

Experience needed

Previous serving experience in a hospitality environment is preferred.
