Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a Manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client, BANK OF AFRICA in the banking Sector, we are looking for competent, skilled and experienced GRADUATE TRAINEES to join our team in Uganda.
The Graduate Trainee Programme is designed to attract, develop, and nurture young, talented graduates into future professionals within Bank of Africa. Trainees will be rotated and/or placed across various departments to gain hands-on exposure, build technical and professional competencies, and prepare for substantive roles within the bank upon successful completion of the program Additional Responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Undergo structured training and orientation across assigned departmental functions.
- Support day-to-day departmental operations and administrative tasks as guided by the supervisor.
- Learn and apply the bank’s policies, procedures, systems, and regulatory requirements relevant to the assigned department.
- Participate in on-the-job training, coaching, mentorship, and any formal training sessions or workshops.
- Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting as required by the department.
- Support customer service and client-facing duties where applicable to the department.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and departmental projects.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with the bank’s standards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to support overall business objectives.
- Complete periodic assessments, evaluations, and feedback sessions to track progress and development.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or programme coordinator.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (Upper Second Class or above) in any relevant field — e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, IT, Human Resources, Marketing, Law, Statistics, or related disciplines.
- Recent graduate (typically within 0–2 years post-graduation), or final-year student awaiting graduation, depending on programme eligibility.
- A Credit or above in both Mathematics and English at O-Level is a MUST. (D1, D2, C3, C4, C5, C6)
- A minimum of two principal passes at A-Level and relevant O-Level qualifications (as applicable).
- Strong academic record demonstrating aptitude for analytical and problem-solving tasks.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience
- 1 year’s relevant experience preferably in the Banking / Financial Industry; Understanding of Financial Reporting and related standards; Understanding of Financial modelling and fore casting; Solid grasp of the Bank’s Policies, Processes and Procedures relating to Finance; Solid grasp of the Bank’s business model, its strategy and its products and services; Solid grasp and interpretation of industrial and national economic trends.
Skills
- Business acumen; Solid analytical and numerical skills; Excellent Computer Skills including MS Office Suite and specifically advanced skills in MS Excel; Strong communication skills (oral and written); Interpersonal with the ability to effectively function in a team setting and engage a cross section of stakeholders across the bank; Attention to details; Initiative, self-drive and follow up skills; Integrity and confidentiality; Ability to work in fast paced and results oriented environment.
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to travel for stakeholder meetings, regulatory consultations, and operational reviews as needed.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to the values of the Bank
