Job Purpose

This is an entrepreneurial sales role designed for self-starters. As a Growth Executive in Uganda, you will drive the local adoption of Lemonade’s payment solutions, build your own customer portfolio from the ground up, and earn a recurring commission based directly on the transaction volume and value you bring to the platform.

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is highly self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Enjoys meeting new people and networking.
  • Can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Is comfortable using smartphones and digital applications.
  • Has previous experience in sales, business development or customer service (preferred but not required).

  • Customer Acquisition: Proactively identify, pitch, and onboard Ugandan merchants, businesses, and individual customers onto the Lemonade platform.
  • Onboarding & Activation: Guide newly acquired customers through their initial account setup and ensure they successfully complete their first transactions.
  • Portfolio Management: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with your onboarded clients to ensure they remain active users month after month.
  • Revenue Tracking: Monitor your portfolio's performance to consistently scale your recurring monthly commission.
  • People Skills: Naturally outgoing with a genuine passion for networking, meeting new people, and building local business relationships.
  • Tech-Savvy: Solid understanding of mobile money networks, digital payment systems, and general fintech trends in Uganda.
  • Attitude & Drive: Highly self-motivated, ambitious, disciplined, and comfortable working with a high degree of independence in the field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in sales, field marketing, or customer relations in Uganda is an advantage, but your drive and willingness to learn are what matter most.
