Role Overview:
As the Head of Growth, you will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive growth strategies that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention across diverse African markets. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the fintech landscape and a proven track record of scaling businesses in emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Growth Planning: Develop and implement data-driven growth strategies aligned with the company’s vision and objectives, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and revenue generation
  • Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate new market opportunities across Africa, tailoring strategies to local contexts and consumer behaviors.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product, marketing, sales, and engineering teams to ensure cohesive execution of growth initiatives.
  • Performance Marketing: Oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns, optimizing for key metrics such as CAC, LTV, and conversion rates.
  • Data Analytics: Leverage analytics tools to monitor KPIs, derive insights, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing growth team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Partnership Development: Forge strategic partnerships to enhance brand visibility and drive user engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years in growth marketing or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position within the fintech or startup ecosystem.
  • Expertise in analytics tools  and CRM.
  • Deep understanding of the African market landscape, consumer behavior, and regulatory environments.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
