JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary
The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere by greeting customers, managing seating arrangements, and coordinating guest flow within the café.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests courteously upon arrival.
- Manage reservations and walk-in customers.
- Escort guests to their tables.
- Coordinate seating to maximize customer comfort and operational efficiency.
- Answer customer inquiries about the café and menu.
- Maintain an organized waiting list during busy periods.
- Assist guests with special requests where possible.
- Ensure the reception and waiting areas remain clean and presentable.
- Coordinate with wait staff regarding table availability.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and refer complex issues to management.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Customer Service, or a related field is an added advantage.
- Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Smart, well-groomed, and professional appearance.
- Friendly personality with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: associate degree
