HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER
Job Purpose
Info-code consults is seeking to hire for our client an HR Officer to support the effective management of human resources by handling recruitment, employee records, staff welfare, performance management, training, employee relations, and implementation of company HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Professional qualification in Human Resources is an added advantage.
- 2–3 years of relevant HR experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of employment practices, HR policies, and employee relations.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and HR management systems is an added advantage.

- Support the recruitment and selection process, including preparing job descriptions, advertising vacancies, shortlisting candidates, and coordinating interviews.
- Prepare employment contracts, appointment letters, confirmation letters, transfer letters, warning letters, and other HR-related correspondence.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personal files and HR records.
- Coordinate employee onboarding, induction, and orientation programs.
- Monitor employee attendance, leave, punctuality, absenteeism, and other employee records.
- Administer employee leave and ensure proper documentation and approval.
- Support the implementation of company HR policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Assist in handling employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts in accordance with company procedures.
- Coordinate employee performance appraisal and performance management processes.
- Assist managers and supervisors in setting employee targets and monitoring performance.
- Identify training and development needs and coordinate staff training programs.
- Support employee welfare activities and maintain good employee relations.
- Prepare HR reports relating to headcount, attendance, turnover, leave, recruitment, performance, and other HR activities.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing accurate employee information, attendance records, leave information, and approved changes.
- Ensure employee information is handled confidentially and securely.
- Support compliance with applicable employment laws, workplace policies, and company procedures.
- Coordinate staff communication and ensure employees receive important company information.
- Participate in employee engagement and team-building activities.
- Assist in managing employee exits, including resignations, clearance, handover, and exit interviews.
- Maintain an updated organizational structure, employee database, and staff establishment.
- Support management in identifying and addressing employee-related issues.
- Ensure proper documentation of disciplinary actions, grievances, and other employee relations matters.
- Assist in developing and reviewing HR policies, procedures, forms, and employee guidelines.
- Perform any other HR-related duties assigned by management.
- Good knowledge of HR practices and procedures.
