JOB DETAILS:

THE ROLE

You will handle a varied caseload of civil and commercial litigation, including:

• Drafting pleadings, applications, sub-missions and correspondence
• Conducting legal research and case analysis
• Appearing in the Magistrates' Courts and High Court
• Managing client files, court diaries and deadlines
• Supporting partners at hearings, medi-ations and negotiations

Advantageous points

• Experience in commercial, land, employment or debt recovery litigation
• Familiarity with e-filing and court practice directions

REQUIREMENTS

• Advocate of the High Court of Uganda with a valid practicing certificate
• Minimum of two (2) years' post-qualification experience (at least two practicing certifi-cates)
• Strong drafting, research and advocacy skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Excellent written and spoken English
• High professional integrity and attention to detail
