NAIL TECHNICIAN

Position: Nail Technician
Workplace: Letty Beauty Uganda

Job Purpose

The Nail Technician will provide professional nail care and beauty services while ensuring excellent workmanship, hygiene, creativity, and customer satisfaction. The role requires someone who is passionate about beauty and capable of delivering a high-quality, luxury salon experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with clients regarding their preferred nail styles, colours, shapes, and designs.
• Provide professional manicures, pedicures, nail extensions, and other appropriate nail services.
• Perform nail preparation, shaping, polishing, and finishing to a high standard.
• Create attractive and creative nail art according to client preferences.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation throughout all services.
• Properly clean, disinfect, and maintain nail tools and equipment.
• Assess clients' nails and identify conditions that may require referral or professional advice.
• Provide clients with appropriate nail-care and aftercare recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workstation.
• Keep up with current nail trends, techniques, products, and designs.
• Deliver services efficiently while maintaining excellent quality.
• Provide friendly, professional, and personalized customer service.
• Monitor salon supplies and report shortages or equipment issues to management.
• Support general salon cleanliness and smooth daily operations.
• Perform other duties assigned by salon management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Nail Technician.
• Relevant nail technology, beauty therapy, or cosmetology training is an advantage.
• Strong practical knowledge of manicure, pedicure, nail extensions, and nail art.
• Good understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
• Professional appearance and personal hygiene.
