Job purpose:

The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall coordination and execution of daily operational activities to ensure seamless e-commerce operations. The role also includes oversight of administrative and HR functions, team performance tracking, staff welfare, and ensuring that all company operations run smoothly and efficiently. The Operations Manager is expected to exercise utmost discretion and confidentiality in all matters pertaining to company processes and staff. This position is a critical link between strategy and execution, supporting the Managing Director in aligning teams with business objectives.

Responsible For
  • Supervise daily operations across customer service, billing, inventory, logistics, and delivery.
  • Coordinate the workflow between departments to ensure timely order processing and fulfillment.
  • Monitor the implementation and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Resolve operational issues quickly and efficiently, escalating where necessary.
  • Track departmental KPIs and compile detailed weekly operational reports.
  • Evaluate performance metrics for departments and recommend areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with teams to monitor goals, productivity, and customer service quality.
  • Conduct onboarding and orientation for new staff.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, motivation, and teamwork.
  • Address staff issues or disciplinary matters in coordination with the Managing Director.
  • Monitor order delays, returns, and client complaints to ensure resolutions are achieved promptly.
  • Sign and adhere to the company’s confidentiality and non-disclosure policies.
  • Proactively identify and report any risks of information leakage or unusual access to sensitive data.
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or operations coordination role.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce, inventory systems, or ERP (especially Odoo) is an added advantage.
