Pharmacy Technician (Hoima)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to support the safe dispensing, storage, and management of medicines while providing quality pharmaceutical services under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and inventory.
• Receive, store, and monitor pharmaceutical stock.
• Provide patients with medication instructions under pharmacist supervision.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and safety standards.
• Assist in stock counts, ordering, and inventory management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.

Requirements

• Diploma in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Technology.
• Valid registration and practicing license where applicable.
• Previous experience in a hospital or community pharmacy is preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical inventory systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
