ABOUT US.
BASCO products (U) Ltd popularly known as ‘Dura coat” is a leading paint manufacture in Uganda with over 30 years’ experience in manufacturing paint, construction chemicals and paint related products . Over the years the company has expanded and attracted other international brands like Decorative paints, Industrial and Automotive paints, and Water-proofing, Construction Chemicals and paint accessories since 1976.
Dura coat prides itself in proving a range of over 7,000 shades which is the largest in Uganda. This is availed to consumers at over 500 convenient locations in East Africa through the Dura coat color mania centers which have automated Computerized tinting System (ACT) that dispense paint in a matter of minutes.
Duties and responsibilities
- Plan daily production schedule
- Allocate duties to the production staff
- Account for all production worksheets
- Do stock take for raw materials and work in progress
- Ensure receipting of all the filled finished product is done.
- Advise on manpower and other resource requirement for the production department
- Ensure safety and health
- Perform any duties as may be assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum academic qualifications
- Senior 6 certificate with science background preferably chemistry.
- Two years’ experience working in manufacturing environment with strict timelines
- Ability to manage people
- Poses computer knowledge- (word and excel)
- Ability to write reports
- Be a team player
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 24
Level of Education: high school
