With support from Stromme Foundation, CBS PEWOSA is looking for inspired and experienced individual to join our team in the position of Project Officer CMSG for its Butambala field office starting January 2026 for 12 Months with potential renewal based on satisfactory performance.
Duties and responsibilities
Project Management
· Plan and implement project activities within approved budgets and timelines.
· Prepare and submit monthly progress reports.
· Participate in quarterly and annual project review meetings.
· Support project data collection and documentation.
· Document and share participant success stories to demonstrate outcomes impact.
Coordinate Income Generation Initiatives
· Mobilize and recruit vulnerable households into CMSGs.
· Identify, recruit, and train community-based facilitators
· Ensure compliance with informal savings group regulations and Stromme Foundations program model.
· Build capacity of facilitators to support group operations and sustainability.
· Uphold safeguarding, health, and safety standards.
· Integrate cross cutting themes, gender, disability inclusion, and climate resilience into all income generation and job creation activities.
Stakeholder Engagement, Networking and Collaboration
· Link CMSG members to formal financial institutions and development programs.
· Represent the organization in local government and NGO forums.
· Coordinate advocacy campaigns for beneficiaries as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in agriculture, agribusiness, microfinance, entrepreneurship, rural development, or business management.
