Responsibilities or duties

• Supervise all on-site project activities and workforce.
• Ensure work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and project plans.
• Monitor contractor and labor performance.
• Assist in planning and scheduling of project tasks.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned project milestones.
• Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment required for operations.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections of works and installations.
• Report and rectify defects or non-conformities.
• Enforce safety rules and company policies on-site.
• Ensure proper use of PPE by all workers.
• Report and investigate incidents or near misses.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
• Track work progress against project schedules.
• Report issues, delays, and risks to the Officers.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other departments.
• Support Officers in project reviews and meetings.
• Ensure smooth communication between site and management.
• Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
• Supervise labor allocation and productivity.
• Ensure proper handling of tools and equipment.
• Perform any other duties assigned to by the Engineering Officers.

Qualifications or requirements 

• Preferably Ordinary Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• Strong leadership and supervision skills.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Time management and organization

Experience needed

• 3–5 years of experience in project/site supervision.
• Experience in industrial or infrastructure projects is an advantage
