Role Description

This is a contract role for a Psychiatric Nurse based on-site at our facility in Entebbe. The Psychiatric Nurse will provide mental health care to clients, administer medications, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include monitoring patients’ conditions, offering therapeutic support, and guiding clients through their recovery journey.

Qualifications

Expertise in Mental Health Nursing and Mental Health Care

Experience and skills in Nursing, including patient care and treatment monitoring

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Compassionate approach with a commitment to patient-centered care

Relevant certifications and registration as a licensed psychiatric nurse

Prior experience in substance abuse rehabilitation or mental health facilities is a plus
