Job Description

Receive, issue, and tally raw produce, seasoning powders, cooking oil barrels, and packaging reels to support continuous production.

Maintain physical and system control of raw materials while enforcing FIFO and FEFO inventory rotation rules.

Safeguard material quality, batch traceability, and store hygiene to prevent contamination, waste, or stock discrepancies.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and tally deliveries of raw produce, seasonings, cooking oil barrels, and packaging materials against delivery documents.

Issue Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and update physical bin cards immediately upon material movement.

Stack pallets and position stock safely to prevent moisture exposure, mixing, physical damage, and crushing.

Issue raw materials and packaging to production teams following authorized requisitions and approved rotation schedules.

Reconcile physical stock against recorded system balances regularly and investigate discrepancies promptly.

Maintain material traceability from supplier receipt through to internal factory issuance.

Enforce food safety, hygiene, and occupational health standards across all raw material storage areas.

Escalate suspected material contamination, unsafe stacking conditions, and record errors to the supervisor immediately.

Education Qualifications & Experience

Education Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Higher/Ordinary/National Diploma in Stores Management, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Inventory Management, Warehousing, Transport and Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, Agribusiness, Agriculture, Packaging, or Business Studies

CIPS or other recognized professional certification in procurement and supply

National Certificate or technical/vocational training in inventory, warehousing, or storekeeping operations

UACE or UCE qualification with demonstrated numeracy and record keeping competence

Experience

No prior work experience required.

Includes 2 weeks of onboarding training on inventory logging and storekeeping procedures.
