Role Overview:

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional experience. The role involves managing patient registration, scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, and coordinating patient flow to ensure efficient center operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Reception & Registration:

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
  • Register new patients, accurately capturing demographic and insurance information.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinating with clinical staff to optimize patient flow.
  • Provide clear information about procedures, preparation requirements, and estimated wait times.

Administrative Support:

  • Answer and direct phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages appropriately.
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes.
  • Collect payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate financial records as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area.

Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient coordination.
  • Assist with filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a reception or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) or scheduling software is an advantage.
