Overall Purpose

To build and maintain strong customer relationships by promoting Letshego Uganda’s products and services, acquiring new customers, providing excellent customer support, and contributing to business growth through effective sales, customer engagement, and relationship management.

The Relationship Officer will serve as a key link between the company and customers by understanding customer needs, providing suitable solutions, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Relationship Management

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Engage customers to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Provide timely, professional, and customer-focused support.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and continued engagement.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update customer information as required.

2. Sales and Business Development

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Identify and acquire new customers through field visits, referrals, networking, and other business development activities.
  • Promote and sell Letshego Uganda products and services to meet assigned targets.
  • Generate leads and convert prospects into active customers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the customer base.
  • Participate in marketing campaigns, customer outreach activities, and promotional initiatives.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales and performance reports.

3. Customer Service and Support

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information about products and services.
  • Guide customers through application processes and service requirements.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate complex issues when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with customer service standards and company policies.

4. Market Engagement and Reporting

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Conduct market visits to identify customer needs and business opportunities.
  • Gather customer feedback and provide insights to improve products and services.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
  • Maintain daily activity reports and provide updates to supervisors.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in sales, customer service, relationship management, or a related field will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
  • Willingness to engage customers through field-based activities.
