Responsibilities or duties

• Provide Uganda Sign Language (USL) interpretation during training and programme activities.
• Support accessible communication in training, career guidance and employment activities.
• Help learners understand instructions, assessments and workplace information.
• Promote inclusive participation and accessibility for participants with hearing impairment.
• Maintain confidentiality, safeguarding and professional standards.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Diploma or training in Sign Language Interpretation or a related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in USL.
• Knowledge of disability inclusion and safeguarding.

Experience needed

• Relevant interpretation experience.
• Experience working with persons with hearing impairment is an added advantage.
