The Treasury Sales Dealer is responsible for managing client relationships and driving sales of treasury products in foreign exchange and fixed income. The role involves providing market insights, delivering tailored solutions to clients, and ensuring profitability while adhering to risk and compliance guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate, institutional, and individual clients.
  • Understand clients' business needs and risk profiles to recommend appropriate treasury solutions.
  • Maintain a portfolio of treasury clients, ensuring high levels of service and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular client visits to strengthen relationships and foster long-term loyalty.
  • Address client queries and concerns promptly, escalating issues where necessary to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Sales & Business Development

  • Market and sell treasury products, including foreign exchange, fixed income, and other treasury solutions, to new and existing clients.
  • Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities in collaboration with other business units.
  • Conduct on-site sales and advisory meetings to understand client requirements and provide tailored treasury solutions.
  • Drive revenue growth by achieving and exceeding treasury sales targets.
  • Promote the expansion of the treasury business through proactive client engagement and business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with branch teams to grow market share and penetrate new customer segments.

Treasury Advisory & Market Intelligence

  • Provide market insights and advisory services to help clients manage currency, interest rate, and liquidity risks.
  • Monitor global financial markets and communicate timely updates on economic trends, foreign exchange movements, and interest rate developments.
  • Recommend appropriate hedging and treasury strategies based on prevailing market conditions.
  • Organize and facilitate client training sessions on treasury products, services, and market developments.
  • Support the development of marketing and training materials for treasury products and services.

Trade Execution & Transaction Management

  • Execute client treasury transactions accurately while ensuring best execution practices.
  • Coordinate with trading desks to secure competitive pricing and ensure smooth transaction processing.
  • Monitor transaction flows to ensure timely and efficient settlement of trades.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all treasury transactions comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks.
  • Uphold the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and professionalism in all client dealings.
  • Operate within approved treasury limits and risk parameters at all times.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, transactions, and sales activities.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Prepare daily sales performance reports, client call reports, and pipeline updates.
  • Generate and present periodic sales, business development, and market activity reports to management.
  • Monitor performance against established sales targets and recommend improvement strategies where necessary.

Collaboration & Operational Support

  • Work closely with Relationship Managers, Trading, Operations, and other internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Support the development, enhancement, and implementation of treasury products and service offerings.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives aimed at improving customer experience, operational efficiency, and overall treasury business performance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate, institutional, and individual clients.
  • Understand clients business needs and risk profiles to recommend appropriate treasury solutions.
  • Actively market and sell treasury products (foreign exchange, fixed income, etc.) to potential and existing clients.
  • Provide market insights and advisory services to clients, assisting them in navigating currency, interest rate, and liquidity risks.
  • Monitor global financial markets and provide clients with timely updates on economic trends, currency, and interest rate movements.
  • Execute client trades accurately and ensure best execution practices.

  • Manage risk by staying within defined parameters for all treasury-related actions.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of client interactions, trade executions, and overall sales performance.
