POSITION SUMMARY
Drive vehicles to and from cleaning area and garage. Park vehicle in designated location when not in use. Inspect parts, equipment, and vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards or regulations. Select appropriate cleaning chemicals and necessary personal protective equipment for various surfaces and cleaning jobs, following OSHA regulations and corporate standards. Clean and detail property owned or operated vehicles. Clean and polish vehicle windows. Scrub, scrape, or spray parts, equipment, or vehicles, using scrapers, brushes, clothes, cleaners, disinfectants, vacuums, hoses, etc. Rinse objects and place them on drying racks; or use cloth, squeegees, or air compressors to dry surfaces. Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment. Respond promptly to requests for cleaning and detailing services. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues. Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Document all vehicle incidents (i.e., damages, accidents) and provide reports of incidents to manager/supervisor.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Adhere to quality expectations and standards. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects). Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down ladders, stairs and/or service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
