GHERI Horizons (Environmental Research Initiative Uganda) is looking for creative, passionate and driven individuals to join our Social Media Team.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging final products for platforms (social media, websites, commercials, documentaries).
• Assemble clips, add transitions, effects, sound design, and motion graphics to enhance storytelling.
• Perform color grading and audio mixing to ensure professional-quality output.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and deliver according to briefs.
• Optimize videos for different platforms (aspect ratios, lengths, file sizes) including vertical for Reels/TikTok and horizontal for YouTube.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Maintain an organized library of video assets, projects, and archived content.
• Stay current with editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and industry trends.
