Job Summary
The Waiter is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and professional food and beverage service while ensuring guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables where required.
- Present menus and provide recommendations on food and beverages.
- Take customer orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
Dining Operations
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests.
- Prepare and clear tables before and after service.
- Process customer bills and payments where required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
Team Support
- Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service.
- Assist with restaurant setup and closing procedures.
- Uphold company service standards and hospitality practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Food & Beverage Service, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Experience
- Previous experience in restaurant or hotel service is an added advantage.
