JOB DETAILS:
Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation ( UPPC), is a state Corporation established by the Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation Act (Cap.330 of the Laws of the Republic of Uganda). The Corporation is mandated to provide security printing and publishing services to the Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies and to private individuals and organizations. UPPC developed a five year strategic plan (2017/18-2021/22) and carried out an organizational review intended to create a robust organizational structure that would enable it to deliver on the strategic plan. The outcome of this review is the need for the recruitment of the following key position:

Job Title: Accountant- Costing
Reports to: Finance and Accounting

Job Purpose:
To manage the costing function of the Corporation with the aim of improving its effectiveness, efficiency and competitiveness.

Qualification:

• A degree in Accounting or Commerce (Accounting or Finance) or Business Administration (Accounting or Finance) or Business Statistics/Computing. AND OR
• Possession of Professional qualification e.g. ACCA or CPA or CIMA or CIA etc.

Experience:
5 years working experience in an accounting field.
