Job Summary:
You will support the Finance department’s management of accounting systems, policies and procedures in compliance with CRS’ established accounting standards, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), donors’ rules and regulations, and legal requirements to support high-quality programs serving the poor and vulnerable. As part of an experienced finance team, you will help coordinate daily financial activities through preparation and delivery of financial services.
The primary responsibility is to ensure invoices for payment requests (Supplier/ Consultant/Staff Advances, Sub Recipient Advances and Liquidations) are created accurately in Insight, e- banking payment data for the Country Program is prepared and coded accurately, payments are processed timely and that vouchers are adequately supported as per the documentation checklist. Other responsibilities include supervision of the filing function in the department, supporting the cost accountant, Fixed Analyst responsibilities.

• SAP and other Finance and Cost Control system tools subject expert, mentor and coach less experienced Cost Controller(s) in cost engineering practices, tools, and techniques and methods
• Support Project in improving the methods in conjunction with SAP and new tools, in order to improve the efficiency of the cost control function and to increase the level of competence of cost control teams.
• Assures and promotes good use of Cost Control tools in compliance with TotalEnergies EP HQ métiers recommendations,

The procurement department supports the various functions to procure and manage supplies and ensures procurement processes are managed in a diligent manner. The function also supports donor funded projects being implemented by Deloitte.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our Internal Client Services Department – Finance as a Procurement Associate. This position will be based in our Kampala office in Uganda.
