Overview
In Uganda, EpiC is implementing two projects: 1) support to the Ministry of Health (MOH) to improve vaccine uptake across the country to reach 70% vaccine coverage of the eligible population. Activities include COVID-19 vaccine service delivery, demand generation, surveillance and data collection, social and behavioral change activities, private sector engagement and human resource capacity development and technical assistance; and, 2) providing technical assistance to the Global Fund’s Country Coordination Mechanism (CCM) and their Principal Recipients (PR) to ensure better oversight and transparency of GF COVID-19 response funding in country.
