Job Summary
The Commercial Analyst supports business growth by analysing sales, pricing, cost, and market data to generate insights, recommend improvements, and guide commercial decisions. The role ensures correct fuel pricing implementation, develops business templates, prepares dashboards, and supports performance evaluations across retail, B2B, and aviation segments. It requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to convert data into actionable intelligence.
Key Deliverables
- Organize and analyse commercial data to support reporting and initiatives.
- Progress weekly pricing approvals and ensure alignment with strategy.
- Prepare sales, margin, and network reports for management.
- Develop standard templates and scorecards to improve business visibility.
- Liaise with Supply to track cost of sales and margin impact.
- Support promotions, card programs, and product setup processes.
- Carry out market intelligence and competitor analysis.
- Build predictive pricing and volume models to support strategic planning.
- Strengthen data governance by improving accuracy, timeliness, and validation processes.

Qualifications

Experience

- Experience working with ERP systems and excel for data manipulation

- Excellent analytical and modelling skills.
- Advanced Excel and reporting tool proficiency.
- Strong understanding of pricing systems and cost structures.
- Stakeholder management and communication.
- Data visualization and dashboard development.
- Ability to interpret complex MI for decision support.
Working Environment
Office-based with regular engagement across Sales, Supply, Retail, and Finance teams, requiring continuous coordination and clear communication to support operational and reporting needs. The role demands strong multitasking capability, the ability to manage multiple reporting cycles and deadlines simultaneously, and a high degree of responsiveness to evolving business requirements. It involves working in a fast-paced, data driven environment where accuracy, timeliness, and cross-functional collaboration are essential for successful performance.
