JOB DESCRIPTIONS

1. Teacher of English & Literature (2 Positions)

Ref: S/No. 1

Job Summary:

To teach English Language and Literature to O’ and A’ Level students, fostering language proficiency, critical thinking, and a love for literary arts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver engaging lessons in English and Literature.
• Develop and mark assignments, tests, and examinations.
• Guide students in literary analysis, composition, and oral skills.
• Participate in departmental meetings and curriculum development.
• Support school literary activities such as debates, drama, and writing clubs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Graduate in English, Literature, or Education with a specialization in English.
• Grade V Teaching Certificate.
• Must be registered with the Ministry of Education and Sports.
• Strong communication and pedagogical skills.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: bachelor degree
