Description

Bondstar Adhesives Uganda is hiring an Accounts and Inventory Assistant to support the factory’s financial and inventory management functions. The role ensures accurate recording of transactions, proper stock control, and timely reporting to enable smooth operations and accountability at the factory.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Accounts

  • Record daily financial transactions and prepare simple reconciliations.
  • Receive and account for payments from sales at the factory.
  • Support preparation of expense reports and petty cash management.
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports for head office.
  • Workforce management software

Inventory

  • Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials and finished goods.
  • Update stock cards and reconcile physical stock with system records.
  • Support stock-taking exercises and report variances promptly.
  • Monitor re-order levels and alert management in time.
  • Ensure all supporting documents (delivery notes, receipts, requisitions) are filed properly.
  • Provide administrative support to the factory team as required.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Stores/Procurement, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounts or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution company.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of integrity.
