Job Summary:

This dual-role technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems, refrigeration units, and electrical infrastructure within the hotel. The role ensures all equipment operates efficiently and safely to guarantee guest comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• HVAC Maintenance: Install, service, and repair all air conditioning units, split systems, and central cooling plants.
• Refrigeration: Maintain and repair all refrigeration equipment, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and ice machines in the kitchen and bar areas.
• Electrical Work: Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house, including lighting, power points, and switchgear.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all mechanical and electrical equipment as per the schedule.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to guest room maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all work complies with safety standards and hotel policies.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• Diploma or Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration, or Air Conditioning.
• Valid practicing license is a requirement.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or large facility.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC controls, and refrigeration cycles.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot effectively, and work on call during emergencies.
