The Biometric System Assistant is responsible for the effective management, coordination, maintenance, and support of the company’s biometric attendance and access control systems across all operational sites.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of biometric devices across all company locations.
  • Ensure daily synchronization of biometric devices with the central server to maintain accurate attendance and access records.
  • Transport and deploy biometric devices to designated sites, ensuring full operational coverage.
  • Monitor system performance, identify and resolve technical issues, and ensure consistent data integrity.
  • Verify and reconcile biometric data; generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly attendance and access reports.
  • Facilitate employee enrollment into the biometric system and ensure proper usage across all departments.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of biometric devices and coordinate repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to staff on biometric system usage and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy standards in the handling of biometric information.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 1–2 years of experience in managing biometric systems or similar attendance/access control technologies.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to support multiple sites.
  • Basic knowledge of networking, server connectivity, and system troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for staff training and support.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and biometric data handling is an added advantage.
