Perfection Church and Ministry-Uganda (PCM) has been in partnership with Compassion International (CI) since 2014 to support the child ministry work of the Churches under the PCM denomination.
PCM - Uganda announces the availability of ministry opportunities for the position of Child Development Officer, Home Based Programming (CDD – HBP) as indicated below.

JOB TITLE: Child Development Officer – Home Based Programming (CDD-HBP) (1 Position)
Reporting relationships: The CDD - HBP reports to the Project Director.

Core Duties & Responsibilities.

1. Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside the Church. Must be a Christian role model for the children, their families and communities. Ephesians 4:12; For the Perfection of the Saints to the work of Serving to build up the body of Christ.
2. Working within one’s influence, serves as an advocate for children who live in poverty and are going into speak out for themselves. This includes being informed about issues of children and influencing others to greater involvement on the children’s behalf.

Knowledge, skills, responsibilities required.

1. Must be a Mature born-again Christian with sound testimony and is a role model to children and youth in the local church she is posted to.
2. Must be Single, or if married should have a good Christian marital background evidenced by certification.
3. Must have a minimum of a Diploma in a medical related course from a recognized institution.
4. Experience and knowledge in Early Childhood (ECD), Growth Monitoring, Oral rehydration, Breast Feeding, Immunization, Functional literacy, Family Spacing and Food supplements (GOBHF); components, maternal-child health intervention programs and social will be an added advantage. Required Age: 25–35.
5. Must be a female and fluent in both English and Lupwere Languages.

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
