Description

Kampala Hospital is hiring highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Care Officers to join our Front Desk & Customer Service team. This role is integral to ensuring smooth hospital operations, providing excellent patient support, and maintaining an organized and welcoming environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and clients at the front desk.
  • Handle patient registration, appointment scheduling, and general inquiries.
  • Manage incoming calls professionally and direct them to the appropriate departments.
  • Assist in processing medical records and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Support guest relations and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth hospital operations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling patient information.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a front desk, customer service, or administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word. Excel. Outlook) and other administrative tools.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and handle patient interactions with empathy and professionalism.
