JOB DETAILS:

Anchor Machines is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our growing team in Kampala. We need someone who is comfortable managing day-to-day accounting while also helping us stay ahead on cash flow, financial planning, receivables, and loan book performance.
This is not just a back-office role you will work closely with leadership, operations, and commercial teams to help power smarter equipment-rental and fleet-finance decisions.
Anchor Machines operates a platform for hiring machines, running fleet operations, coordinating operators, and tracking orders.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- At least 3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience
- ACCA or CPA qualification, or advanced progress toward completion
- Strong skills in financial modelling, budgeting, reporting, and cash-flow management
- Experience monitoring a loan book, receivables, collections, or credit portfolio
- Confidence using Excel and accounting systems
- A sharp eye for detail, strong integrity, and a willingness to grow with a fast-moving business
