The Government of the Republic of Uganda through Uganda National Roads Authority has allocated funds from its National Road Development and Maintenance Programme (NROMP) Budget for Framework for Maintenance of Streetlighting Across the Country for Three Years
UNRA invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the above subject.
Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all eligible bidders.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 9(a) from 9:00am to 4:00 pm local time during working hours from Mondays to Fridays. 5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 9(a) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX: 100,000 (Uganda Shillings One hundred thousand only). The method of payment will be registering the payment on the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) website portal. Print the payment advice Form after registering on the URA Portal and effect payment through the URA collection Banks.
No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery. Upon the presentation of the original receipt and an application letter on Company letter head to the Procurement and Disposing Unit at the address in 9 (b) below, the bidder will be issued the bidding document.
This procurement is earmarked for local providers in accordance with the guidelines on reservation schemes to promote local content in public procurement.
Bids must be delivered to the address below at 9(a) at or before 11:00am on the 19th September 2023. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security as stated in the Bidding document. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 9(d) at 11:30am on the 19th September, 2023.
There shall be a pre-bid meeting at 11:00 am on the 24th August 2023
