JOB DETAILS:

Background

The BEF School under the Management of Butansi Elders Forum is opening its doors to the public in February, 2026 and is Desirous of recruiting a number of Staff to steer it's operations in line with the Education Act, 2008.

1. HEADTEACHER:

The Headteacher should be a Graduate Professional teacher registered by the Ministry of Education and Sports with experience as either Head of Department, Director of Studies, Deputy Headteacher or Headteacher for atleast 3 years in a Secondary School and should be registered with the Ministry of Education and Sports.

Science subject teachers are preferred though those with Humanities can as well apply.

2. DIRECTOR OF STUDIES:

The Director of Studies should be a graduate with experience of atleast 3 years teaching experience though Diploma Holders with administrative years of Experience are equally encouraged to apply.

Science subject teachers are preferably though even Humanities professionals can apply.

3. ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY/ FRONT DESK OFFICER:

The front Desk Officer should be a holder of any of the following qualifications;

• Diploma in Secretarial Studies,
• Diploma in Business Administration,
• Diploma in Business Studies,
• Diploma in Accounts

The successful candidate MUST be from a recognised registered tertiary institution by the National Council for Higher Education.

Computer literacy is a MUST for the above post. Ladies are Encouraged to apply

4. TEACHING STAFF:

The following subject teachers are required with a high level of competence in the New Curriculum. Those with teaching experience have an added advantage.

The required teachers against their subjects are;

• Biology/Chemistry- 1(One)
• Physics/Maths/PE-1(One)
• History/Geography-1(One)
• Literature/English-1(One)
• Information Technology-1(One)
• Agriculture (One)
• History/CRE-1 (One)
• Fine Art-1 (One)

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: postgraduate degree
