Background
Bukoola Chemical Industries Ltd is hiring a Head of Inventory & Warehouse to lead our supply chain operations across multiple divisions. This is a strategic leadership position that will drive operational excellence, inventory optimization, and warehouse management for our Crop, Vet, Seed, Pharma, and Production divisions. As the ideal candidate, you will provide visionary leadership while ensuring our inventory systems deliver efficient performance and full ERP integration across all locations.

What You Will Do
1. Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute winning warehouse and inventory management strategies
- Implement Lean Inventory principles to optimize working capital and minimize obsolescence
- Standardize processes across multiple warehouse locations
- Drive ERP optimization for real-time visibility and reporting accuracy
2. Operational Excellence
- Oversee the complete inventory lifecycle from receiving to dispatch
- Maintain stock accuracy and OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery across all divisions
- Lead cycle counts, annual stocktakes, and audit reconciliations
- Enforce inventory management protocols and full traceability compliance
- Champion 5S, safety standards, and ISO 9001:2015 requirements
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Production, Sales, Procurement, and Finance teams
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Align inventory operations with company financial and operational goals
4. Team Development
- Lead and mentor warehouse managers, inventory controllers, and logistics coordinators
- Set clear KPIs and drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Provide comprehensive ERP training and capacity building
Do You Have What It Takes?
1. Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration (Master’s preferred)
- Professional certifications: CIPS, APICS (CPIM/CSCP), or equivalent
- ISO 9001:2015 and ERP (Odoo/SAP) certification is an advantage
2. Experience
- 8–10+ years in inventory and warehouse management
- 3+ years in senior leadership roles
- Multi-site warehouse management experience
- Background in FMCG, agrochemical, or manufacturing environments
- Proven track record with ERP-based operations
3. Core Competencies
- Strategic supply chain planning and analytical excellence
- Strong ERP and data management proficiency
- Exceptional leadership and cross-functional coordination skills
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
