Background

Kampala Hospital, a leading private healthcare institution committed to excellence in patient care, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resource Manager to join our leadership team. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the hospital’s Human Resource function in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and best practices that enhance staff performance, culture, and experience.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and talent management processes.
• Coordinate performance management, training, and succession planning to ensure continuous staff development.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, labour regulations, and internal policies.
• Manage employee relations, resolve conflict, and foster a positive work environment anchored on Integrity, Respect, Nurture, and Excellence.
• Oversee payroll inputs, benefits administration, and HR information systems.
• Provide guidance to management and staff on HR matters and support strategic decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualification or professional HR certification (CHRP, CIPD, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
• At least 5–7 years of progressively responsible HR experience, preferably in healthcare or a large service-driven organization.
• Strong knowledge of Ugandan labour laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and emotional intelligence.
