Background

The ICT Officer manages the organization's information technology systems and provides technical support.

Responsibilities

• IT Infrastructure Management: Maintain and manage the organization's network, servers, computers, and related equipment.
• System Administration: Administer the Hospital Management Information System and other software applications.
• Technical Support: Provide first-line technical support to staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Cybersecurity: Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect organizational data and systems.
• Data Backup: Ensure regular data backups and implement disaster recovery procedures.
• User Training: Train staff on the use of software applications, IT systems, and security protocols.
• Hardware Maintenance: Maintain and repair computer hardware and peripherals.
• Software Installation: Install and configure software applications and operating systems.
• IT Policy Implementation: Implement and enforce ICT policies and procedures.
• Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers as needed.
