Job Overview

The Instrumentation Commissioning Supervisor will oversee all instrumentation commissioning activities to ensure equipment and systems are safely brought into operation.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise commissioning of instrumentation systems
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and procedures
  • Coordinate field activities with contractors and operations teams
  • Support start-up activities and troubleshooting
  • Monitor commissioning progress and performance
  • Perform loop checking and calibration verification
  • Supervise instrument functional testing
  • Validate test records and commissioning dossiers
  • Support pressure, temperature, flow and analytical instrumentation commissioning
  • Assist local workforce development and mentoring

HSE Responsibilities

  • Promote and enforce HSE policies
  • Conduct field safety inspections
  • Ensure risk mitigation measures are applied

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Degree or technical diploma in Instrumentation or Automation
  • Minimum 8–10 years of commissioning experience
  • Experience in Oil & Gas facilities or pipeline projects
  • Strong knowledge of field instrumentation and commissioning procedures
  • Supervise commissioning of instrumentation systems
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and procedures
