Role Description

The Machine Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Hoima. The person in this role will operate and monitor production machinery, ensuring safe and efficient performance throughout each shift. Responsibilities include setting up machines, performing basic adjustments, and inspecting products to meet quality standards. The Machine Operator will maintain a clean and organized work area, follow all safety procedures, and report equipment issues promptly to supervisors or maintenance staff. This role also involves working closely with team members and communicating clearly to coordinate tasks and meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate and monitor machines, with hands-on experience in Machine Operation.
• Knowledge of Quality Control practices to inspect and verify products meet specified standards.
• Familiarity with industrial Machinery and related equipment, including basic troubleshooting.
• Strong Communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and team members.
• Competence in using Hand Tools safely for minor adjustments and routine maintenance.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial operations is an advantage.
• Basic technical or vocational training in mechanical, industrial, or related fields is preferred.
