Job Summary:
The Marketing & Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day sales operations and marketing initiatives of the hotel. This role involves leading the sales team, developing strategies to maximize revenue, and ensuring the hotel maintains a strong competitive presence in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor the Marketing & Sales Executives to achieve individual and team targets.
- Revenue Generation: Develop and implement action plans to attract new corporate clients, conference bookings, and leisure travelers.
- Market Research: Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback to adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
- Campaign Management: Assist in planning and executing promotional campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, and loyalty programs.
- Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, analyzing performance against set targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with key corporate accounts, travel agents, and event planners.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) is an added advantage.
