Job Summary:

The Massage Therapist provides professional and therapeutic massage and body treatments to hotel guests and external clients. This role is essential in promoting relaxation, wellness, and the overall guest experience at the hotel’s spa or wellness center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Therapy Services: Perform a variety of massage modalities (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy) and body treatments based on client needs and preferences.
• Consultation: Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their health history, needs, and desired outcomes before each session.
• Hygiene & Sanitation: Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in all treatment rooms, including sanitizing equipment, linens, and tools after each use.
• Product Knowledge: Recommend and promote retail products (oils, lotions) or additional spa services to clients.
• Scheduling: Manage appointment bookings efficiently in coordination with the spa reception.
• Professional Development: Stay updated on new massage techniques and wellness trends.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• Certification or Diploma in Massage Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Valid practicing license/certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a spa, resort, or wellness center.
• Knowledge of various massage techniques and anatomy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a calm, professional, and caring demeanor.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical activities (massage, lifting equipment).
