Rakai District Local Government invites eligible and competent firms to apply for pre-qualification, and frame work contracts listed below:

A. BIDS UNDER THE RESERVATION SCHEME

1. Supply of furniture for schools, health units, offices and medical beds
2. Supply of uniforms, blankets, shoes, mattresses
3. curtains, carpets, tents, protective wear
4. Supply of electrical cables and conductors
5. Supply of medicines & medical supplies
6. Provision of printing services
7. Supply of assorted stationery / office equipment

C. INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION

1. Goods/Supplies:
   1. Supply and installation of solar
   2. Supply of plastic tanks
   3. Supply of tree seedlings
   4. Supply of generators

2.0. Services:

1. Provision of radio programmes
2. Surveying & titling of public land

3.0. Works:

1. Construction of permanent buildings/renovations/pit latrines
2. Construction of ferro-cement tanks / spring wells
3. Rehabilitation of boreholes and shallow wells
4. Design, supply and installation of irrigation systems
5. Construction of valley dams / tanks
6. Extension of piped water systems
7. Heavy grading, gravelling and drainage improvement of roads

D. BIDS UNDER FRAMEWORK CONTRACTS

1. Supply of computers, printers, photocopiers, accessories and consumables
2. Supply of tyres, rims, batteries and assorted materials
3. For motor vehicles
4. Supply of consumables for heavy machinery (blades, end bits, cutting edges etc)
5. Supply of spare parts for water tanks, boreholes,
6. Shallow wells and water works.
7. Supply of fuel, oil and lubricants / installation of tyres, servicing of vehicles / wheel alignment and balancing.
8. Supply of concrete culverts
9. Supply of agricultural / veterinary tools and equipment
10. Supply of firefighting equipment
11. Supply of detergents, sanitizers, and other cleaning materials
12. Supply of bitumen, primer, stone chips & aggregates, road lime, stone dust, murram, hard core stones & other road construction and building materials
13. Provision of catering services
14. Provision of hotel and conference facilities
15. Hire of road equipment
16. Repair of motor-vehicles.
17. Repair of motor-cycles.
18. Repair and of heavy machinery
19. Provision of Engraving services
20. Furnishing services
21. Repair and servicing of computers, photocopiers, generators, printers and other office equipment.

CONDITIONS OF TENDER

1. Each item in a category must be applied for separately.
2. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Procurement and Disposal Unit starting from 9.00am to 6.00pm Working days.
3. Applicants shall obtain bid documents from the Procurement and Disposal Unit after paying a non-refundable fee of UGX. 50,000/- for categories C & D after obtaining a PRN from the District Cashier.
4. Sealed bids addressed to the Secretary Contracts Committee must be delivered to the Procurement and Disposal Unit at the address given below on or before 25th August 2026. At least two copies should be retained by the Procurement and Disposal Unit in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Late bids shall be rejected.
