The Goverment of Uganda has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Competitiveness Enterprise Development Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments under the contract for Procurement of Orthorectified High Resolution Satellite imagery Mosaic for Uganda. "For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank's Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit."

The Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Procurement of Orthorectified High Resolution Satellite Imagery Mosaic for Uganda.

Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank's Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers November 2020 (Procurement Regulations"), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0900 to 1700 hours at the address given below

The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Uganda Shillings Two Hundred Thousand Only (UGX 200,000). The method of payment will be by direct deposit to URAA/C, Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development -Tender Documents in any Commercial Bank in Uganda. The
Bidding Documents will be available for pick up at the address (9a) below upon presentation of evidence of payment

Bids must be delivered to the address 9a below on or before 10:30 am, 23 February 2024. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders' designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address 9b below on 23 February 2024, 10:35 am

All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Uganda Shillings Thirty Million Four Hundred Thousand Only (UGX.30,400,000).
